What is Mixing and Mastering?

For our online mixing and mastering services, we use not only digital DAWs but also analog mixing applied to achieve exceptional sound characteristics.

Mixing involves much more than adjusting volume levels. We will:

• Adjust audio levels and tweak frequencies
• Pan instruments across the stereo field
• Add effects to make music sound pleasing and dynamic
• Apply the right amount of equalization, grit, and compression for a polished song

Mastering takes a finished mix to the next level. We make a song sound full, bright, and loud by:

• Balancing the sonic elements of a stereo mix
• Optimizing playback across all systems and media formats
• Using tools like equalization in the mid/side, compression, limiting, and stereo enhancement, and much more
