This page is for all my Screw Heads out there!! Okay, for those who don’t know what I’m talking about let me break it down to y’all what Chopped and Screwed is:

Chopped & Screwed also known as Slowed and Throwed, Screwed music, Houston music, H-Town music, screw music, screwed, and S.L.A.B. (Slow Loud And Bangin) all refer to a technique of remixing hip hop, r&b, reggae, country, rock, and even reggaeton music by slowing down the tempo and applying various techniques such as skipping beats, record scratching, stop-time, and sending portions of the music through stand-alone effects to make a “chopped-up” version of the original. It is similar in many ways to dub reggae if you know what I mean.
